We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Companionship
Light cooking and cleaning
Assistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
Assistance with mobility, transfers and medication reminders
Transportation for appointments and assistance with errands
Perform all job duties with dignity, compassion, care and empathy
Qualifications and Skills:
Be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma
Verify legal eligibility to work in the United States
Proof of current TB testing and Health Physical
Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check according to IL State Requirements
Must be able to pass a Drug Test
Must have personal reliable vehicle and proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Caregivers must be mature, caring, punctual and reliable
Must have basic knowledge of technology in order to use our cell phone app for clocking in/out, documenting completion of tasks and reporting changes in client’s condition
Previous experience working as a caregiver or experience caring for geriatric, disabled or chronically ill persons is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
