Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Server/Dishwasher, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays - (6am-2pm)
Duties
- Serve meals to residents or guests with friendly professionalism, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Assist in food preparation and plating under the guidance of culinary staff to support meal service.
- Clear tables, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to promote sanitation standards.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils thoroughly using proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Support the dietary department by helping with meal assembly, portioning, and basic food handling tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, counters, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices and safe food handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food production processes, meal preparation, and serving techniques.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
- Familiarity with dietary department operations and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment use and sanitation standards.
