Job Summary:
As a Beertender at Freewheel Brewing Company, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the overall brewery experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include serving a diverse range of craft beers, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and inviting taproom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Beer Service: Pour and serve a variety of craft beers to patrons with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly and informative manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our product offerings.
- Taproom Maintenance: Ensure the taproom is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Monitor and restock inventory as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant alcohol service regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe and responsible drinking environment.
- Cash and Card Handling: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our current beer selection, including styles, ingredients, and brewing processes, to effectively communicate with customers.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a positive and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and passion for craft beer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and card transactions with accuracy.
- Basic understanding of beer styles and brewing processes.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift and carry kegs and cases of beer (up to 50 pounds)
