Goldberg Realty Associates is seeking a reliable, hands-on Live-In Service Manager (Superintendent) to care for our beautiful 34-unit apartment community in Verona, NJ. This unique position includes a 2-bedroom apartment home on site and is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a community as if it were their own—because it is.
This is a part-time, live-in position that requires evening, weekend, and on-call availability. We're looking for someone who understands that being dependable and responsive is essential to providing an outstanding living experience for our residents.

What You'll Be Doing
As the sole on-site maintenance professional, you'll play an important role in keeping the property safe, clean, and operating smoothly.
Property Care & Resident Service
- Complete maintenance requests professionally and in a timely manner
- Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs throughout the community
- Prepare apartments for new residents
- Build positive relationships by providing friendly, responsive resident service
Community Appearance
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas and the overall appearance of the property
- Keep the grounds and building looking neat, welcoming, and well cared for
- Take ownership of the community's curb appeal every single day
- Notice small issues before they become costly repairs
On-Call Responsibilities
- Live on-site and respond to evening, weekend, and emergency maintenance situations
- Be someone residents and management can depend on when urgent issues arise
- Help ensure the community remains safe, secure, and well maintained

What You'll Need
Required Skills:
- Experience with cleaning and maintaining residential communities
- Plumbing repair experience
- Light electrical repair experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Ability to prioritize maintenance needs and respond calmly in emergency situations
