Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, from foundational work to finishing touches. As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to exciting building initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely in accordance with safety protocols
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry or stucco work as needed
- Support concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and concrete pumping activities to ensure quality results
- Conduct site cleanup, organize materials, and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to construction safety regulations
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or background in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or restoration is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for various tasks on-site
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operation of heavy equipment is a plus
