Facility & Environmental Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a Facility & Environmental Supervisor to manage day-to-day facility operations and environmental compliance for a client’s Ohio site. This role will oversee building maintenance, utilities, and environmental programs, while helping ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.
The right candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting and be comfortable balancing hands-on facility oversight with environmental responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination
- Ensure buildings, equipment, and grounds are well maintained and operating efficiently
- Manage environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor and maintain compliance with EPA and other regulatory standards
- Coordinate waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives
- Support safety initiatives related to facility operations and environmental risk
- Track and maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and reporting requirements
- Work closely with operations and leadership to resolve facility-related issues and improve performance
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and on schedule
- Assist with capital projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, facilities management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in facility operations and/or environmental compliance in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience managing vendors and contractors
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
- Solid communication skills and ability to work across teams
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
