Position Summary:
Valor Volleyball is seeking enthusiastic and growth-minded Practice Coaches to support our training sessions and contribute to a positive, high-performance environment. This role is ideal for aspiring coaches who want to learn, grow, and make an impact by motivating athletes and reinforcing the club’s values of courage, integrity, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Head Coaches: Assist with practice setup, drill execution, and athlete engagement under the direction of the head coach.
- Provide Instruction & Encouragement: Offer clear, constructive feedback and motivation to athletes during training sessions.
- Learn & Grow: Observe coaching strategies, team dynamics, and practice flow to develop your own coaching skills and understanding.
- Model Club Values: Promote sportsmanship, effort, and a growth mindset in every interaction with athletes.
- Athlete Engagement: Help monitor athlete focus, energy, and technique throughout practice, offering guidance when appropriate.
- Travel to Tournaments with your team: Assistant coaches are a big help. Not only in practice, but are very beneficial at tournaments. You are required to be there.

- Passion for volleyball and athlete development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from head coaches.
