Position Summary:
Dynalab Test Systems is a market leader in test equipment for the wire harness industry. We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support a wide range of production activities. This position combines electro-mechanical assembly, electronic soldering and board repair, product testing, prototype assembly, and general production support. Because we are a small manufacturing team, responsibilities vary based on production priorities, and team members regularly work across multiple areas of the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of products and subassemblies.
- Solder electronic components and perform board-level repair and rework.
- Assemble and test production units and engineering prototypes.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Create and maintain work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory, and other production support activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience with electronic soldering is required.
- Experience performing board-level assembly, rework, or repair is required.
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic and repetitive assembly operations as required.
- General knowledge of operating hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to operate computer terminals and general software applications.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of both hands for assembly, soldering, testing, and packaging.
- Ability to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and walking.
- Frequent lifting of materials weighing 10–30 pounds.
- Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive assembly and shipping tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to visually inspect electronic assemblies and read work instructions.
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible work schedule between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Start times can be adjusted to fit your schedule while maintaining an 8-hour workday.
Typical workdays include:
- Two paid 15-minute breaks
- One unpaid 30-minute lunch break
