Regional Executive Chef Position
Live Well is seeking an experienced Regional Executive Chef to provide culinary leadership and operational oversight across multiple Personal Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities. This role is responsible for driving food quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team development while supporting a positive resident dining experience across the region.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong multi-unit experience, a passion for senior living dining, and the ability to balance culinary excellence with operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide regional culinary oversight for multiple communities across PA, MD, and DE
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards across all locations
Support and mentor Executive Chefs, Dietary Managers, and culinary teams
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (including sanitation, food safety, and dietary guidelines)
Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to support resident satisfaction and nutritional needs
Oversee menu implementation, recipe standardization, and portion control
Monitor food costs, labor budgets, and inventory controls to meet financial targets
Assist with onboarding, training, and performance development of culinary leadership
Support openings, transitions, audits, and corrective action plans as needed
Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Qualifications
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Experience in multi-unit culinary leadership
Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams across multiple locations
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional leadership
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory

Candidates who successfully complete the interview process will be required to participate in an on-site culinary demonstration. This will include a chef’s table presentation designed to showcase technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail.
