We are actively bringing on entry level CDL-A drivers for OTR routes out of DeSoto, TX. Newly licensed drivers and those with some experience behind the wheel are all encouraged to apply. This position delivers consistent freight, strong weekly earnings, and a guaranteed home every week that you can count on without exception.
Pay & Benefits
- Mileage compensation at $0.60 CPM
- Weekly earnings typically between $1,300 and $1,500 based on miles and experience
- Projected yearly income between $67,600 and $78,000
- Drivers can expect to run between 1,800 and 2,000 miles each week
- $300 orientation bonus paid upon successful completion
- Weekly earnings deposited directly into your bank account every Friday
Home Time & Schedule
- Drivers return home every week on a structured and guaranteed basis
- Both day and night shift options are offered
- Weekend driving is expected as part of the regular schedule; holiday requests are considered
- Route information is distributed to drivers in advance to allow for proper planning
Equipment
- 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadias making up the entire fleet - well maintained and always ready
- Every truck is outfitted with automatic transmission for a comfortable ride
- All freight is 100% no-touch - the only thing drivers handle is the wheel
- Equipment is professionally inspected and serviced on a regular basis
Freight Details
- OTR lanes originating out of DeSoto, TX with coverage spanning all 48 states
- Freight volume stays strong and uninterrupted throughout every month of the year
- Every driver benefits from structured lane assignments and reliable dispatch support on each run
Driver Responsibilities
- Handle all Class A tractor-trailer operations safely and professionally on every OTR run
- Carry out detailed and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after each haul
- Keep ELD records precise, current, and fully aligned with all DOT compliance standards
- Make sure all cargo is properly loaded and secured before pulling out on every trip
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch throughout the full duration of each run
Minimum Requirements
- Must possess a current and valid Class A CDL
- Recent graduates from CDL training programs are highly encouraged to apply
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- A verifiable and clean driving record is required
- Drug and alcohol clearinghouse must reflect a completely clear status
- Must complete and pass a DOT physical and drug screening before the start date
