Eastern Greene Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls' Basketball Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes while promoting the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
The successful candidate will build a positive team culture, foster strong relationships with students and families, and help develop athletes both on and off the court.

Coaching experience preferred, but not required

Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to motivate and mentor middle school student-athletes

Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Develop student-athletes' basketball skills and knowledge of the game

Promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship

Foster enthusiasm and pride within the basketball program

Represent Eastern Greene Middle School with integrity and professionalism

Oversee all aspects of the girls' basketball team assigned

Plan and conduct organized, safe, and engaging practices

Communicate expectations, schedules, and events with athletes and parents

Highlight the Thunderbird Basketball Program and its student-athletes

Utilize the corporation's approved communication platforms to share information
-
Model appropriate behavior and leadership
-
Build a program that the Eastern Greene community is proud to support

Recruit and encourage student participation
-
Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director and coaching staff

Demonstrate reliability and preparedness in meeting practices, competitions, and assigned responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
