Service Dispatcher is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX. This position is responsible for coordinating and dispatching HVAC and Plumbing technicians to customer locations, ensuring timely response to service requests and emergencies. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering and prioritizing incoming calls, gathering key information from customers, scheduling and routing technicians, and updating work orders in the system. The role also involves communicating with field staff throughout the day, tracking job progress, and following up with customers to confirm service details and timing. The Service Dispatcher supports efficient operations by maintaining accurate records, monitoring workload, and assisting with basic administrative tasks as needed.Work Days will be Monday-FridayWork Hours will be from 8:00am - 4:30pm.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Candidates should possess effective Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to manage calls and relay information clearly to customers and technicians.
- Candidates should possess core Dispatching skills, including prioritizing work orders, routing technicians, and adjusting schedules.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with scheduling or dispatch software is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
