Mover, Packer, & Warehouse Operator
Allz Done solutions is a local moving and support company that helps support moves, senior relocations, pickup and delivery of specialized items, packing of all levels of packages for shipping, and maintaining and moving items within our warehouse operations. We are currently looking for energetic and dependable team players to help us meet the growing demand for our services. Along with serving as a stand alone company, Allz Done solutions is also a primary vendor and supporter of Caring Transitions of Roswell & Buckhead as well as NAVIS Pack and Ship of greater Atlanta, sharing warehouse space and coordinating on warehouse operations. We are currently seeking team members who have a passion for excellence in their daily work and are ready to safely and efficiently pack items, move and deliver according to prescribed standards and work within our warehouse to support all operations. Each day is different and may involve moving, driving a moving truck, packing, delivering and sorting goods at our warehouse or within client locations. Work is scheduled Monday - Friday from approximately 8 until 5 with limited work on the weekends. Occasionally there could be long distance moves involving overnight travel but this would be scheduled in advance. The role includes mover, packer, and warehouse operations responsibilities.
The mover's primary role is to transport furniture and other items from one place to another. A Mover’s ultimate goal is to safely and quickly deliver all items to the client’s satisfaction. This involves the Mover’s participation in every step of the moving process, from prepping items for the journey to unloading them at the new space. An effective Mover collaborates with the team and with clients to keep items safe from damage during the move. When performed correctly, this role directly contributes to a positive customer experience.
Packers are working to prepare items for packaging and shipment. They do so by understanding the nature of the items they need to pack and preparing the packing materials and package according to company standards or requirements, then loading the goods for shipping, including the appropriate packing of pallets, crating, building of custom packages as required. Products should always be packed in a safe and efficient manner.
Warehouse operations includes the various activities involved in receiving, storing, palletizing, packing and shipping products, and is a crucial component to support the operations of the 3 businesses supported by our warehouse. Responsibilities within the warehouse revolve around these daily activities and can include prepping items for storage, material handling, movement of items within the warehouse, packing and shipping of items out of the warehouse. The team works collaboratively to accomplish the goals and tasks assigned for the day.

- Scheduling is based on customer demand with most weeks having 30+ hours available based on one’s individual availability.
Job Requirements (including, but not limited to):
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation.
- Must be able to lift 150 pounds
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture
- Must be able to stand, reach and move/bend for long periods of time
- Need to be fluent in English to communicate effectively with the team and customer
- No specific experience is necessary but previous mover experience and/or custom crating and packaging experience is highly preferred.
- Effective communication skills when interacting with clients and fellow movers
- Ability to solve problems on the spot
- Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and disassembly
- Meticulousness skills when packing and loading furniture for safe transportation
- Ability to use hand tools, adhesives, padding, and other packaging products
- Ability to maintain a clean work area and observe company safety standards
