We are looking for a talented RN, LVN, RN, or very experienced Medical Assistant to fill the role of primary clinical support for a busy orthopaedic surgeon. Duties include calling patients back to the exam room, assessing the need for X-ray evaluation before rooming patients, and obtaining a comprehensive history. The ideal candidate should be a strong multi-tasker, thrive in a demanding environment, and know about orthopaedic medical management. Responsibilities:
- Assist with and drawing injections.
- Input orders for imaging, PT, DME, orthotics, labs, and referrals.
- Field patient phone calls and encounters dealing with topics like medications, treatments, test results, and surgery.
- Knowledgeable in scheduling surgery and imaging.
- Function as a role model and resource providing guidance to coworkers.
- Confer with physicians to provide the highest level of customer and medical care.
- Work collaboratively with all providers of care including PT, Home Health, Rehab, Hospital, DME providers, and Implant Representatives

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of clinical experience
- Active License and/or Certification
- Strong multi-tasking skills without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Exposure to and knowledge around orthopaedic medical management
Preferences:
- Experience and proficiency in EMR systems
- Proficient in removing staples and sutures from post-operative incision sites.
