Hudson's Furniture is looking for our next Manager-in-Training (MIT) to join our Warehouse Operations team. What You'll Do:
As a Warehouse Manager-in-Training, you'll work alongside experienced leaders while gaining hands-on experience in all areas of warehouse operations. You'll:
Receive, scan, organize, move, and stage furniture throughout the warehouse
Safely load and unload delivery trucks
Verify inventory accuracy using RF scanning systems
Learn warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and team leadership
Help coach, motivate, and support warehouse associates
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
Assist with planning daily workflow and improving operational efficiency
Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in leadership.
You may be a great fit if you have:
Leadership, coaching, mentoring, or supervisory experience
Experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or order fulfillment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency
A high level of initiative and ownership
A passion for developing people and improving processes
A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, physically demanding position.
Candidates must be able to:
Lift up to 75 pounds
Move heavier items safely with equipment or team assistance
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work for extended periods
Work in varying warehouse and weather conditions
Operate or learn to operate pallet jacks, RF scanners, and powered warehouse equipment
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience operating powered lift equipment and general maintenance skills are a plus.
