Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering menu recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the counter and seating area
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of food and beverages
- Assist in stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating change accurately
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
