Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting
- Observe and document each child's developmental progress to tailor individual learning plans
- Collaborate with team members to manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and curriculum planning
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws and childcare regulations to ensure compliance with licensing standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or young children in montessori, preschools, or nannying roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and the Montessori Method
- Bilingual is a MUST
- Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred)
- Familiarity with special education strategies and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork
- Classroom management skills that foster positive behavior and a nurturing environment
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and mandated reporting laws
- Passion for early childhood education and creating enriching experiences for infants
