Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail operations with passion and precision. This role is vital in driving sales, managing daily store functions, and inspiring a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent management skills, ready to create an engaging shopping environment while ensuring operational excellence.
Duties
- Oversee all store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service to meet business goals.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage staffing schedules, conduct interviews, and participate in employee orientation and onboarding processes.
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock ordering, merchandising, and inventory audits to minimize shrinkage.
- Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) system management for seamless transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and cash handling procedures.
- Implement marketing initiatives to boost store visibility and sales growth while maintaining excellent customer relations.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting to build effective teams.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control systems.
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and retail math including pricing strategies.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with excellent managerial communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using strong organizational skills and time management.
- Previous experience in grocery or wireless sales environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
