We are looking for a motivated and dependable Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be licensed in the State of Texas and have experience performing both MRI and CT studies.
Position Requirements
- Must hold the appropriate Texas state licensure/credentials to perform MRI and CT duties.
- Experience working in both MRI and CT preferred.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
- Professional, dependable, organized, and compassionate.
Responsibilities
- Call patients in and assist with patient flow.
- Prepare patients for MRI and CT examinations.
- Prepare and ensure the MRI and CT rooms are ready for each patient.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer questions.
- Safely position and assist patients during examinations.
- Move and position appropriate MRI coils for each procedure.
- Perform IV placement for contrast-enhanced studies, as permitted by applicable credentials and facility policy.
- Follow proper MRI safety procedures and screening protocols.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked MRI/CT rooms.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and rooms before and after patient examinations.
- Provide excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and facility protocols.
