Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse.
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, stocking, and load & unload activities while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Manage shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting for damages or discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records.
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment, quality control checks, and proper storage of materials to optimize warehouse distribution.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking items precisely according to order specifications using order picker equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by packaging products securely, performing quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse management systems.
- Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment required for safe operation.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and materials handling.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following PPE guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to operate RF scanners accurately for order processing.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required.
