Job Description
· Lead and oversee the estimating department across three regional locations, driving consistency and excellence in bid preparation
· Manage two Senior Estimators as direct reports while providing strategic direction for the entire estimating function
· Streamline and optimize the bidding process to maintain the department's capacity of approximately 1,000 bids per year with a 2-3 day turnaround
· Collaborate closely with the three founders at each location to understand legacy estimating practices and assume full ownership of the estimating function
Key Requirements
· Proven leadership experience managing a team of estimators in a fast-paced environment
· BS Degree preferred
· Background in striping, construction, or related industries strongly preferred
· Willingness to travel to Bridgeport, CT, Rockland, MA, and Albany, NY approximately two weeks per month for the first six months
