FTE (Full Time)- 0.8 (32 hours/week) Evenings 3p-11:30p
FTE (Full Time)- 0.8 (32 hours/week) Nights 11p-7:30a
FTE (Full Time)- 0.75 (30/ hour week) Weekend Nights 7p-7p
- Rate: Starts at $39.90/hour with potential for higher pay based on relevant experience
- Evening shift differential: $4.70/hour
- Night Differential: $4.90/hour
- Weekend Only: Flat rate of $50.80 (plus applicable differentials)
Unit Description:
BH8B will be a DBT-based acute inpatient treatment unit that offers flexibility for a longer length of stay for adolescents with high intensity suicidality, behaviors, or other acute mental health presentation. Staff on this unit will be highly involved in treatment delivery, including DBT skill teaching and implementation, adaptive behavior development, and integration with the multidisciplinary treatment team
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and coaching to psychiatric RNs, provides direct patient care as needed
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists or other healthcare providers.
- Serves as an expert Epic user. Facilitates employee's documentation process thought out the shift.
- Monitor and assess patients' mental health status, including their emotional well-being and cognitive functioning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing psychiatric emergencies.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic interventions, such as group therapy sessions or behavioral management techniques.
Education:
BSN required from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Certifications: Current CPR certification required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.
