Classy Chassis Car Wash & Detail Center in Ocean Springs is now hiring a Service Advisor / Full-Service Car Wash Team Member for our full-service car wash and detail location.
This position is a mix of customer service, sales, vehicle prep, and hands-on cleaning. The Service Advisor is often one of the first people a customer interacts with, so we are looking for someone who can create a great first impression, recommend the right services, and help guide customers into the wash, full-service package, or detail service that best fits their vehicle’s needs.
This is not just a cashier or cleaning position. A major part of this role is being able to confidently talk to customers, explain our services, recommend upgrades, and help increase sales while still being involved in the cleaning process.
Main responsibilities include:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner
- Recommend full-service wash packages based on the condition of the customer’s vehicle
- Explain available detail services, add-ons, and upgrade options
- Help identify vehicles that may need additional cleaning services beyond a basic wash
- Confidently suggest upgrades without being pushy
- Assist customers with pricing, service options, and basic questions
- Vacuum vehicles before they are brought around to the wash tunnel
- Help prepare vehicles for the full-service cleaning process
- Assist with interior cleaning, wiping, mats, windows, and other full-service duties as needed
- Keep the customer line moving efficiently and professionally
- Communicate clearly with managers and other team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow company procedures and quality standards
Sales and service recommendation expectations:
The Service Advisor should be comfortable talking to customers and recommending services. Many customers do not know what their vehicle needs, so this position requires someone who can look at a vehicle and help guide the customer toward the right option.
Examples include recommending:
- Full-service wash packages for customers who want the inside and outside cleaned
- Interior details for vehicles with heavy dirt, stains, pet hair, spills, or built-up grime
- Shampooing for dirty carpets, floor mats, cloth seats, or interior stains
- Leather treatment for vehicles with leather seats that need cleaning, conditioning, or protection
- Hand waxing for customers who want added shine and paint protection
- Buffing and paint enhancement services for vehicles with dull paint or light oxidation
- Water spot removal for vehicles with mineral buildup on paint, glass, or exterior surfaces
- Headlight restoration for cloudy, yellow, or faded headlights
- Windshield repair when customers have small chips or damage that may be repairable
- Wheel cleaning or acid washing for brake dust, rust staining, or heavy buildup
- Premium detail packages for customers wanting a deeper, more complete cleaning
- Add-on services whenever they would improve the customer’s overall results
The goal is to help customers understand what their vehicle needs while also helping the business grow through honest service recommendations and strong customer service.
