In-house recruiter -
The Attorney & Client Success Manager will assist with coordination of the full cycle talent acquisition/recruitment process for lateral shareholders and associates as well as manage the On Campus Interview (OCI)/summer/first-year associate programs. May also provide additional support to other offices.
Essential Functions:
- Meets regularly with office management, recruiting chairs and/or practice group leadership to review hiring needs and potential candidates
- Provides support for and coordinates all on-campus recruiting activities and events
- Manages entire process for law school recruitment, and assists the Retention & Recruitment Committee with lateral attorney recruitment, including initial review of candidate materials, response to inquiries, collection of information from candidates, coordination of interview process (scheduling, monitoring, evaluation follow-up, etc.), and communication with candidates and search firms regarding candidate status
- Coordinates with Human Resources and other administrative departments to complete various recruitment-related checks (background, conflicts, references, bar status, etc.) and new hire-related paperwork as well as other employment related processes
- Assists other offices with candidate and market research as necessary
- Develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines through creative sourcing strategies- think job fairs, community partnerships, schools, outreach events and social media
- Maintains applicant database and department records and generates reports
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal hiring regulations
- Support the continuous improvement of our recruitment process and candidate experience
- Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation Laws
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
- Working knowledge of recruiting software and applicant tracking systems (i.e. Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter)
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation; ability to interact effectively with candidates, all levels of firm personnel, and a variety of external clients
- Provides outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services, and meet or exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others
- Possesses superior judgment and discretion; recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information, and maintain confidentiality
- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills
- Demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering high-quality results
