Your Role: Connect Client Sales Representative
The IOA Connect Client Sales Representative plays a critical role in connecting older adults and their families with the services and support offered by the Institute on Aging. This position is rooted in a dynamic, fast-paced call center environment focused on delivering compassionate, solution-driven sales through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat interactions. The Connect Client Sales Representative reports to the Call Center Sales Manager.
Hybrid Role: Must be able to commute to our San Francisco corporate office 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
What you will do:
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Answer inbound calls and conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients and leads, showcasing the benefits of our programs and services.
- Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall growth and success of the Institute on Aging.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services and products, identifying solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using our tracking process and technology.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster loyalty and trust.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Follow up with clients to provide ongoing support and ensure their needs are met.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to strategize and implement marketing and sales campaigns effectively.
- Share insights and feedback from client interactions to improve marketing and sales strategies and client experience.
Empathy and Sensitivity:
- Display genuine empathy, sensitivity, and respect for the needs and concerns of elderly clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 years as a successful sales representative in a call center or similar environment.
- A college degree is not required; we welcome applicants who have developed the necessary skills and professional growth through relevant coursework, professional training, certifications, or equivalent hands-on customer service experience.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to convert leads into sales and overcome objections.
- Ability to listen actively to clients and identify their needs to offer appropriate solutions.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Coordination: Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination.
- Endurance: Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods while working on computers. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing more than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance.
