CoachComm is looking for a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our Technical Service team. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, repairing electronics, building systems, and taking pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
In this hands-on role, you'll repair and test professional wireless communication and intercom systems used by coaches, broadcasters, production crews, and live event professionals across the world. Every day brings something different—from troubleshooting customer equipment to assembling and testing new systems before they ship.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bench-level electronics work, problem-solving, and working with a collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional products and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair professional electronic communication equipment.
- Perform component-level repairs using schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Assemble, configure, and test new communication systems prior to shipment.
- Verify repairs through functional and quality assurance testing.
- Document repairs, findings, and recommendations accurately.
- Assist with failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient repair bench.
- Collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve complex issues.
- Help improve repair processes and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure every system meets CoachComm's quality standards before returning to the customer.
What We're Looking For
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other electronic test equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
Bonus Experience
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- RF or wireless communication systems
- Audio equipment
- Networking fundamentals
- Soldering and component-level repair
- Manufacturing or production testing
- Quality assurance processes
