Job Title: Construction Estimator
Location: Arlington, TX
Pay: $24hr- $29hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Additional hours may be required based on bid deadlines)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates and proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret construction documents and manage multiple bids in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, price, and present detailed project proposals to customers
Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overall project scope
Ensure proposals are clear, complete, and aligned with customer requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary project information
Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and organization across all estimates
Requirements:
Strong understanding of construction materials and components, including:
Structural steel, plates, and wide flange members
Light gauge steel framing
Sheet metal components (gutters, downspouts, fascia cladding)
Fasteners, sealants, and bolts
Canopy lighting, signage, and related systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications required
Strong mathematical skills (algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High school diploma or GED required
College education preferred
Construction industry experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
