Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop employees to foster a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales.
- Monitor store financials through budgeting, payroll management, bookkeeping, and retail math to ensure profitability.
- Supervise shift schedules, employee orientation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a sales environment.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, leadership, and communication.
- Experience with inventory management systems (POS), purchasing processes, and cash handling procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and operational management.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as pricing strategies and sales analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is advantageous.
