Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and biomechanical evaluations, to identify musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop personalized care plans utilizing chiropractic diversified technique, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Perform physical assessments and utilize medical imaging when necessary to support accurate diagnoses of the musculoskeletal system.
- Manage acute pain cases and develop strategies for ongoing patient rehabilitation and pain management.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term health benefits.
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), documenting patient histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the musculoskeletal system essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
- Proficiency in chiropractic diversified technique, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and physical examinations.
- Ability to manage acute pain cases effectively using evidence-based pain medicine principles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging interpretation, and musculoskeletal diagnostics.
- Excellent client communication skills to explain complex conditions clearly and empathetically.
- Competence in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and care planning purposes.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies and patient rehabilitation techniques to support recovery goals.
- Personal injury experience.
