American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in Golden, CO, requiring both pre-op and PACU competency with on-call availability on weeknights and weekends.

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
-
Must be proficient in both pre-op and PACU nursing functions
-
Evening shift, rotating 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours/week)

Weeknight and weekend on-call required

May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications

Charting via Epic EMR
-
Active CO or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required

Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must not expire prior to start date

Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
-
Epic EMR experience
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for post-anesthesia patients

Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
-
Refers patients as needed and monitors therapy and treatment plans

Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
