Position Summary
The Commis Waiter plays an essential supporting role within the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service execution and an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with Servers and Management, the Commis Waiter assists with table maintenance, food running, beverage service, mise en place, and dining room organization while embodying the hospitality standards of alonetogether. Through thoughtful attention to detail and genuine care for every guest, this role helps create an atmosphere where meaningful connections flourish, transforming each meal into a memorable shared experience.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Deliver warm, attentive, and professional hospitality to every guest.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain a polished and welcoming dining room presence at all times.
Support the service team in creating memorable dining experiences.
Service Support
Run food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
Clear, reset, and maintain tables according to restaurant standards.
Refill water, polish glassware, and assist with table-side service when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.
Preparation & Operations
Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
Assist with daily mise en place and dining room setup.
Ensure service tools, glassware, flatware, and linens are stocked and ready.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Support special events, private dining experiences, and restaurant activations as required.
Teamwork & Professional Development
Work collaboratively with both front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn menu knowledge, service techniques, and hospitality standards.
Participate in pre-service meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education.
Uphold the culture, values, and standards of alonetogether.
