Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires effective team management, operational efficiency, and a passion for the culinary arts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies.
- Manage staff training and development, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Handle cash management, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation of daily sales.
- Utilize Toast POS for efficient order processing and reporting.
- Understanding of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational costs while maximizing profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure all guest requests and dietary needs are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, and ingredients.
- Experience with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity high volume fine dining
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training & development.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Background in hospitality management or food service management is advantageous.
