Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Director to lead engaging recreational programs and social activities for our senior residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or long-term care settings, with a strong focus on enhancing quality of life through meaningful activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for senior care and wellness. The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of programs tailored to residents’ interests and needs.
Monday- Friday. 9a-3p. NO HOLIDAYS! An occasional Saturday or Sunday as needed.
Duties
- Develop and implement diverse activity programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity for residents.
- Coordinate special events, outings, and therapeutic activities aligned with residents’ preferences and abilities.
- Manage schedules for daily activities, ensuring smooth operation and participation.
Experience
- Proven experience in activity planning within assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Background in senior care, including dementia care.
