Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Care Attendant to join our team on weekly basis every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. This position requires availability for overnight shifts from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Schedules are made out monthly!
The ideal candidate is caring, attentive, and committed to providing exceptional support to our residents while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the night.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide nighttime support, including safety checks and assistance as needed
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the appropriate supervisor or nurse
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Follow all community policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Document care and services provided as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work overnight hours (10:45 PM – 7:15 AM).
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
