Duties
- Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, protein shakes, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing expert recommendations to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems (Clover) for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Process cash and card payments accurately while managing cash registers efficiently
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations and beverage availability
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service background preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
