Herb To Body is a growing natural health products brand based out of our own facility in Valley Cottage, NY. We pack and ship whole herbs, herbal bitters, and supplements in-house, and we take pride in the quality of everything that leaves our warehouse. Our team is small, hardworking, and hands-on. We need someone who fits that energy.
The Role
We are hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Associate to keep product flowing from production to shipping every day. When product is finished, you get it into the right picking bins so the shipping team can fill orders fast and accurately. You are also the link between shipping and production, making sure backorders and open items get flagged and filled instead of falling through the cracks.
This is not a sit-at-a-desk job, but it's not an Amazon-style grind either. You will be on your feet keeping product moving at a steady, manageable pace, with real variety in your day: binning, receiving, inventory updates, and working with the team. Attention to detail matters here just as much as hustle, because keeping our inventory system accurate is what keeps orders going out on time.
What You'll Do
Binning & Inventory
- Move finished product from production into the correct picking bins at a steady pace, about one unit a minute
- Update our ERP system as product is binned, received, and moved, so inventory counts stay accurate
- Keep bin locations organized, labeled, and easy to pick from
- Support cycle counts and flag discrepancies before they become problems
Backorders & Communication
- Be the bridge between shipping and production on backorders and other open items
- Let shipping know the moment backordered product hits the bins so orders go out same day
- Communicate clearly with a diverse team so nothing gets missed
Receiving & Putaway
- Help receive incoming deliveries: check items in and verify counts against purchase orders
- Put away received materials and products in their proper locations
- Help keep the warehouse organized and production flowing
- Jump in where the team needs help on busy days
Who You Are
- You have warehouse, stockroom, or inventory experience, or the work ethic to learn fast
- You are comfortable with computers and scanners and pick up new software quickly (we will train you on our ERP)
- You have sharp attention to detail, especially with counts, bin locations, and product info
- You work at a steady, fast pace and don't need to be told what to do next
- You are reliable, show up on time, and are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs when needed
- You think about the business impact of your work, not just the task in front of you
Bonus Points
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems (MRP, WMS, or similar)
- Forklift or pallet jack experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
