Overview
Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Shuttle Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for our hotel guests while delivering exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure. As one of the first and last team members our guests interact with, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences and representing the Crowne Plaza brand with professionalism and courtesy.
Our Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and from the airport, local businesses, restaurants, and other approved destinations while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented shuttle vehicle. This role also assists guests with luggage, provides local recommendations, and works closely with the Front Office team to ensure timely pickups, seamless communication, and outstanding service. Responsibilities
- Escort incoming guests to rooms.
- Assist guests with luggage.
- Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate.
- Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
- Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
- Deliver messages and run errands.
- Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van.
- Maintain all mileage records on a daily basis.
- Report all trips to front desk; length of drive as well as length of time spent.
- Keep record of calls for service.
- Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
- Set up sample rooms.
- Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a hotel shuttle driver, chauffeur, valet, transportation driver, or in a customer service-focused driving role preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet the company's insurability requirements. CDL is not required.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a warm, welcoming, and professional guest experience.
- Ability to safely operate a passenger shuttle van while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety standards.
- Knowledge of the local Augusta/North Augusta area, including airports, restaurants, attractions, and major roadways, or the ability to quickly learn routes.
- Ability to assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with the Front Office team regarding guest transportation requests.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Must be dependable, punctual, flexible with scheduling (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and enter/exit the shuttle frequently throughout the shift.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
