We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our dynamic production team. Duties
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately execute assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks by measuring parts with shop math skills and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety procedures
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly processes and escalate problems as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools
- Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations during assembly processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including understanding of quality standards and safety protocols
- Experience with soldering electrical components is preferred but not mandatory
- Capable of manual handling of parts and materials safely while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of machining processes or experience working with technical drawings enhances your fit for this role
