Signature Solutions, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking talented and self-motivated engineers to support modeling and simulation integration for multiple U.S. Army programs at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented engineer to join our innovative and cross-functional team providing cutting edge digital engineering solutions for simulation frameworks.
Modeling & Simulation Integration Engineer
The applicant will join a diverse team of engineers and scientists supporting DoD customers on a wide range of modeling, simulation, and system analysis projects in support of weapon system performance assessments. Candidate will work as part of the team responsible for digital data management and configuration control of information that directly supports missile defense simulations. The candidate will develop multi-disciplinary data packages required for simulations and will build proficiency in the simulation environment. Candidates will be responsible for documenting and refining workflows for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and validation/verification.
Work will be performed on-site at customer facilities with regular interaction between team members, industry partners, government customers, and US intelligence community counterparts. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering is required; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Candidate must have 0 to 5 years work experience in related field with a strong technical background.
- Familiarity with digital data management concepts, configuration control, and digital simulations.
- Strong software programming skills and experience are required with MATLAB and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in air and missile defense simulations is a plus.
- Experience with Jira, Git, and Gitlab is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working with large and complex data volumes.
- Active DoD security clearance is a plus.
Compensation will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s education, experience, position level, and qualifications
Pay: $75,000.00 - $124,043.47 per year
