Order Picker / Order Selector
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Pay: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Overtime: As needed
Position Summary
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Order Pickers/Order Selectors to join our warehouse team in Ronkonkoma. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting products from the warehouse based on customer orders and preparing completed orders for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Obtain packing slips from the Shipping Clerk.
- Record start times and order information using the computer system.
- Accurately pick the correct quantities of products from the designated warehouse locations.
- Place picked items with the corresponding packing slip.
- Verify orders for accuracy before sending them to Shipping.
- Deliver completed orders to the Shipping Department.
- Operate ride-on pallet jacks (lo-jacks) and/or man-up picking machines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or order-picking experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and follow packing slips.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including ride-on pallet jacks and/or man-up picking machines.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
