Half Moon Pet Spa is growing and looking for a motivated, experienced Full-Time Dog Groomer to join our team! We are a customer-focused pet spa dedicated to providing high-quality grooming services in a clean, safe, and positive environment for pets and staff.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable groomer who takes pride in their work, treats clients’ pets like family, and values professionalism and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Perform breed-standard and custom grooms
- Bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and de-shedding
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming requests
- Ensure pets are handled safely and humanely at all times
Qualifications:
- 1+ year professional grooming experience preferred
- Ability to groom multiple dogs per day efficiently
- Strong scissoring and clipper skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
