Overview:
Cheltenham Transportation is looking for a full-time, in-office Payroll Assistant. As the Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for daily data entry for employee payroll, weekly payroll reconciliation, biweekly payroll processing, and responding to internal and external requests for earnings data. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up employee direct deposits and creating various deductions, utilizing ADP software. Other projects include preparing bi-weekly and monthly invoices, 401K enrollment packages, running reports, data cleanup projects, and managing master files. As the Payroll Assistant, you will also be responsible for assisting the Controller and Assistant Controller with any necessary projects.
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience may apply in place of a preferred degree.
● Experience: 2-3 years of payroll experience is preferred; knowledge of ADP is a plus!
● Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite- including Excel, Word and Outlook
● Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
● Must have excellent time management, organizational skills, and critical thinking
● Must have professional communication skills, both written and oral
● Must be an independent worker and a problem solver
● Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
