Knight Industries is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Saw Department Technician to join our team. This position plays a key role in preparing materials for production by cutting, mitering, and sandblasting components according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Cut materials to size based on work order due dates
- Cut and prepare materials for internal departments using prints provided
- Miter material edges for Machine and Weld Departments
- Sandblast parts as needed for further processing
- Label and organize work order stock bins
- Keep racks and work areas clean and organized
- Perform basic maintenance on department equipment
- Work with team members to complete multi-step jobs
- Follow all quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Experience using saws, shears, or similar cutting equipment
- Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape measure, ruler)
- Basic understanding of different material types
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
