Overview
Quantum Physical Therapy & Chiropractic Care is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Patient Coordinator / Medical Receptionist to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, bilingual in English and Spanish, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and general inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Assist patients with intake paperwork and office procedures
- Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, and healthcare providers when necessary
- Collect and upload required documentation into patient charts
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, referrals, and treatment plans
- Coordinate with providers and office staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Assist with general front desk and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office, reception, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
- Personal Injury, No-Fault, or Workers’ Compensation experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers, email, and electronic medical record systems
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
