Job Summary:
The role of Overnight Bridge Housing Property Services is to monitor and provide oversight to homeless Veterans enrolled in Transitional Housing Facility. ECHO operates under the Housing First approach and is committed to affirmatively furthering fair housing.
This is a part- time position for two overnights and one evening shift, including holidays and weekends. There may be additional coverage needed throughout the week (8-hour shifts) or to fill in as needed.

- Eastern Carolina Housing Organization (ECHO) is a non-profit, homeless service provider which encompasses the 13 northeastern counties of South Carolina and 3 counties in southeastern North Carolina. The corporate office is located in Myrtle Beach, SC, with a satellite office in Sumter, SC.

Responsibilities:
- Routine walk-through of facility and grounds to ensure safety and security of residents at the property.
- Monitor entrances/exits, common areas, and exterior grounds to prevent unauthorized access or unsafe activity.
- Monitoring Surveillance Screens and report concerns immediately according to protocol.
- Maintain situational awareness of resident movement and facility activity while preserving dignity and privacy
- Treat personal belongings in bed bug tent
- Launder clothing and linens
- Provide support for any resident as needed
- Enforce rules and promote safety
- Mediate misunderstandings
- Administer breathalyzer and drug screen analysis as needed
- Guide and connect residents to supportive services
- Maintain resident compliance with all policies and rules for the property
- Manage and maintain the physical property
- Trash and linen services as needed
- Food Service Opening and Closing Duties as needed
- Distribute mail to residents
- Secure medications
- Flag detail
- General office maintenance and facility housekeeping Follows the Housing First, client-centered approach to serving program participants
- Transports clients in company vehicle when necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours to fulfill position duties
- Ability to write clear incident reports and use basic technology (cameras, logs, email, etc.).
- Experience with trauma-informed services and practices (preferred)
- Experience in shelter/housing programs, recovery residences, residential treatment, or trauma-exposed populations.
- Crisis Prevention / de-escalation training (CPI, verbal intervention, etc.).
- CPR/First Aid (preferred) and Naloxone training (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Able to sit, stand , or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
