Full-Time Virtual Therapist (IOP Program)
We are seeking a full-time virtual independently licensed therapist (LPC, LICSW, or equivalent) to provide group and individual mental health services within an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serving clients in the DMV area. This role primarily focuses on leading a daily virtual IOP group, completing clinical documentation and conducting intake assessments or providing individual therapy sessions as needed in a supportive and collaborative environment. Candidates must be licensed in DC, Maryland, or Virginia but the role is entirely remote.
About the position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Fully Virtual (DMV Area)
Salary: $80,000 annually (clinical consultation provided at no cost)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily virtual IOP group therapy sessions
- Complete timely and accurate group and client documentation
- Conduct intake assessments and individual therapy sessions as needed
- Maintain clinical notes and treatment documentation
- Respond to emails and complete administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support client care
Typical Daily Schedule
- 9:00–9:30 AM: Email and administrative tasks
- 9:30 AM–12:30 PM: Lead IOP group therapy (with 40 minutes of breaks built in)
- 12:30–2:30 PM: Complete group notes/documentation
- 2:30–3:00 PM: Break
- 3:00–4:00 PM: Intake assessment or individual session
- 4:00–5:00 PM: Documentation and client notes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Active independent clinical license (LPC, LICSW, or equivalent)
- Experience facilitating group therapy preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing telehealth services virtually
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
