HRAIT (https://hr.aitworks.com/), a recruiting agency is looking for a Payroll / HR Specialist to join a well-established Japanese restaurant group based in Woodland Hills, California
This role is responsible for managing payroll and supporting HR operations for approximately 400–500 employees. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience using Paycom and a strong background in payroll and human resources.
Job Responsibilities
- Process payroll using Paycom
- Manage new hire onboarding and employee orientation
- Process employee terminations
- Conduct and manage background checks
- Enter and maintain tip data
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Provide general support for payroll and HR operations
Qualifications
- Hands-on payroll experience using Paycom
- Experience managing payroll and HR functions for 400–500 employees
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration and HR processes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
