Medical Laboratory Technician III (1st or 2nd Shift)
Pay: based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, coordinate, ship, and transport patient and donor blood samples.
- Perform basic donor and/or patient testing procedures and interpret results.
- Recognize and resolve testing irregularities or escalate as needed.
- Manage supply and reagent inventory, including ordering, inspection, preparation, and quality control.
- Maintain equipment, reagents, and records to ensure testing accuracy and compliance.
- Accurately document and review laboratory data and reports.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Chemistry.
- 1 year of blood banking experience.
- Minimum MLT (ASCP) certification.
- Licensure if required by state
- Good written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Basic understanding of basic computer applications including Word. Ability to work on a team.
