Job Summary
Professional Dog Handler for International Dog Rescue Needed
Responsible, dependable, dog handler needed for regular walks and dog care. Will also be assisting in household chores and running errands.
Requirements:
- Passionate about animal rescue
- Prior experience walking multiple large dogs
- Comfortable handling large rescue dogs on and off leash
- Experience with military/police/search and rescue dogs a plus
- Reliable transportation and punctual with clean driving record
- Must be able to multitask and be organized
- Must be able to take direction and work independently
- Attention to detail and able to read dog body language is mandatory
- Schedule: 20-40 hrs/week overnights on occasion (overnight stay on premises required)
- Live in option for the right person
- Must be have the ability to travel within and out of the US
- Must be comfortable in working in all types of weather
- Part-time and Full-time options (Morning shift/Afternoon shift)
- Ability to obtain passport
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Must be physically fit and capable running/walking/standing able to carry 40lbs of dog food/bending/stooping/reaching/able to work in all weather conditions
This is tobacco and drug free home with a zero tolerance rule
Must have a clean driving record along with 4 professional and personal references
Background check required
