What You’ll Be Doing
As an LVT on our team, you'll play a critical role in both patient care and hospital culture. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring ICU and hospitalized patients overnight
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Patient triage and emergency care
- Diagnostic imaging, laboratory work and sample collection
- Client education and communication
- Administering medications and treatments
- Assisting with emergency stabilization and procedures
- Placing catheters, drawing blood, and supporting critical patients
- Maintaining patient charts and records appropriately while capturing charges
- Balancing outpatient care as well as inpatient care during overnight shifts
- Sharing general housekeeping protocol responsibilities with coworkers
We’re Looking For
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technican
- Strong technical skills and confidence in anesthesia and patient monitoring, especially critical patients who need more intensive oversight
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, proactive attitude
- Excitement about being part of a growing hospital and helping shape its future
- Stays calm and focused in emergency situations
